Hawzah News Agency (Tbilisi, Georgia) – Head of Iranian Center for Political Studies Dr Shirkhani had a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to Georgia in Tbilisi on Saturday during which they proposed new ways to expand their cooperation in future.
According to reports, the main topics of their meeting were expanding cooperation between Iran and Georgia's religious centers in order to combat extremism, Iran's cultural diplomacy in Georgia, expanding scientific and academic interactions between two countries, reviewing the picture depicted of Iran in Georgian text books, teaching Persian language and literature in Georgia, reconsidering the picture depicted of Georgia in Iranian textbooks as well as developing tourism in both countries.
It is noteworthy that the above mentioned meeting was held in Iranian embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia and Dr Shirkhani was welcomed by the ambassador himself. Both sides emphasized developing mutual cooperation in different areas.
